Convert an image file to vmware

Hello friends, how are you?

I need to know how to convert an image created in Disk Master Free (.FVD extension) to a virtual machine running on Vmare.
Is it possible to do that?
I use the free version of Vmware, the VMware Workstation Player v14.1.1.

You can create empty VMware disk with VMware, and mount it in the windows
and recovery an image to the empty VMware disk with Disk Master Free.
