Brief introduction of recovery partition

The recovery partition is a separate partition on a computer's hard drive that contains a backup of the Windows operating system, allowing users to restore the system to its original state in case of a malfunction. There are two types: the Windows recovery partition, which is created by Microsoft, and the supplier's recovery partition, which is specific to the computer manufacturer.

The Windows recovery partition is a built-in partition that comes with Windows, while the computer supplier's recovery partition, such as HP Recovery Partition, is provided by the manufacturer and allows for a factory reset. This partition is typically hidden and not visible in Windows File Explorer.
