Error code 0xc0000225 usually means Windows cannot find or read required boot files. It can appear after power loss, update failure, disk errors, cloning, or partition changes.
If you do not have a Windows CD, use recovery media, built-in Advanced Startup, or a bootable USB. Protect files first if the disk may be failing.
Try boot repair in a controlled order.
Create bootable media and back up files before deeper boot repair.
Step 1. Prepare an empty USB drive and connect it to a working computer. Back up the USB because it may be formatted.
Step 2. Open Qiling Disk Master and choose Create Bootable Media. This helps when normal Windows startup or repair access is unavailable.
Step 3. Select the USB boot device option and choose the correct USB drive by capacity and drive letter.
Step 4. Click Proceed and wait until creation finishes. Use the USB for Windows 10 boot repair without a CD.
Step 1. Stop writing new data to the Windows system drive. If possible, install Deep Data Recovery on another drive.
Step 2. Launch Deep Data Recovery and choose Fast Scan first. Fast Scan helps recover files before reinstalling or rebuilding partitions.
Step 3. Select the Windows system drive as the scan location. If the exact folder is missing, scan the whole partition.
Step 4. Wait for the scan to complete. Use file type, name, path, and date filters to narrow the results.
Step 5. Preview files, select the items you need, and recover them to another disk or external drive.
After repair, restart twice, check Windows Update, and confirm the system disk shows the expected partitions.
