If your C drive has less than 1GB of free space, you can't use the "Merge Partitions" feature in Qiling Disk Master to merge it with other unallocated space, as this might cause file system errors and prevent your system from booting normally. Instead, Qiling Disk Master offers alternative functions to extend your C drive.

How to merge C drive that is less than 1GB with unallocated space?

Due to the small size of the C drive, it is recommended to extend it to at least 1GB. To do this, the first step is to extend the C drive, which can be achieved by following a series of steps.

Step 1. After launching Qiling Disk Master, right-click the partition besides C drive bar on main console, which is H drive, then choose "Resize/Move Partition".

Step 2. Shrink F drive. As the below picture.

Step 3. To free up space on your computer, you can resize the E partition by moving its end to the right, making the left part empty and unallocated. This will give you more space to use.

Step 4. The E drive has expanded in size and free space, making it possible to merge the C drive and unallocated space using the "Merge Partitions" feature.

Qiling Disk Master offers various functions to extend partitions, but if one function doesn't work, it may be due to a condition of the partition or disk that doesn't meet the demand. In such cases, you can try using other functions to achieve the same purpose without data loss, as their ultimate goal is to extend the partition. The only difference lies in the number of steps required.
