A 4TB target disk may not show full capacity after cloning from a 2TB MBR disk. The usual reason is the MBR 2TB addressing limit.
For a data disk, GPT is normally the best target style for a 4TB drive. For a boot disk, the computer must support UEFI boot before converting the cloned disk to GPT.
Use Disk Management to check whether the source is MBR or GPT and whether the new disk contains unallocated space beyond 2TB. Do not initialize or clean the source disk.
Clone disks or partitions with a visible preview before applying changes.
Step 1. Open Qiling Disk Master, choose Clone, and select the clone mode that matches cloning a 2TB MBR disk to a 4TB disk.
Step 2. Select the source disk or partition, then choose the destination disk. Confirm that the destination has no needed files.
Step 3. Preview the target layout, keep required EFI or recovery partitions, and click Proceed to start.
After cloning, confirm the target disk style, usable capacity, partition layout, and boot order if it is a system disk.
